George W. Bush Endorses Non-Gay Marriage Again -- And So Do I!

George W. Bush today made remarks on the sanctity of non-gay marriage, saying nearly the same thing he said Saturday in his radio address.

But for those of us whose lives are amazingly similar to George W. Bush's -- and that number is growing despite what liberal pollsters say -- we know that "nearly the same" is not the same as "exactly the same."

Regular readers of this blog know that Me & George W. are similar because we are not only deciders, but also because we are repeaters. And so, in the interest of demonstrating once again the value and the power of repeating things with slight variations to drive home a point, here's what George W. said Saturday, followed by what he said Monday. These passages are then are followed by what I said Saturday and Monday.

Notice how in repeating ourselves we add more nuance to the debate over non-gay marriage!

PRESIDENT BUSH (Saturday Radio Address): "As this debate goes forward, we must remember that every American deserves to be treated with tolerance, respect, and dignity. All of us have a duty to conduct this discussion with civility and decency toward one another, and all people deserve to have their voices heard."

PRESIDENT BUSH (Monday, Eisenhower Executive Office Bldg.): "As this debate goes forward, every American deserves to be treated with tolerance and respect and dignity. On an issue of this great significance, opinions are strong and emotions run deep."

Now here's what I said at McCann's on Saturday, followed by what I said Monday:

PAUL M. SARK (Saturday at McCann's): "As this debate goes forward, we must remember that there can be no debate when it comes to evil men in [judicial] robes who want to legalize the perversion of the next generation of American boys and then claim a tax deduction to boot!"

PAUL M. SARK (Monday at McCann's):"As this debate goes forward, we must remember that there can be no debate when it comes to filthy liberal activist judges in judicial robes who, disgustingly, wear no underwear because it cramps their homosexual need for instantaneous degenerate sex. Significantly, these judges want to legalize the perversion of the next generation of American boys and then claim a strong and deep tax deduction to boot!"

Me & George W. know that after deciding comes repeating. And with repeating, comes elaboration to drive the point home. And to that point, Me & George W., as we so much like to say, once again say, God bless America, and God bless American freedom!

It's a brilliant tactic that all truly patriotic Americans enjoy - us not being very bright and all, unlike those smarty-pants, elite liberals. Repeat away!
